Mappamondo, 2016 – Embracing global diversity

  Giugno 24, 2016   ,

Italian friends of the Citizens Foundation are excited and honored to participate in the Mappamondo festival 2016 in the medieval borough of Turin this upcoming weekend! Mappamondo is a festival entirely dedicated to the beauty of different cultures, extensively and intensively exploring the different aspects of travelling. This includes travelling to near& far locations, spiritually travelling within yourself and exchanging cultures with whom surrounds you.

TCF will have a table in one of the main halls of the festival where we will be selling our beautiful cashmere scarfs, handmade in Pakistan, our e-book “Il mio cavallo di battaglia” and teaching you more about our values, future initiatives and past successes.

The festival will have a variety of activities which will open our eyes to global diversity and teach us about how to fully embrace the fact that we are ALL citizens of the world. This will include a World Food Court, a World Food master class, musical performances, art stands, a ‘corner’ dedicated to mother nature, a Tibetan well-being center and stands which will represent a mix of cultures.

It will take place in Turin’s medieval borough with free entrance at the following hours:

  • Friday 1st of July from 17h00 to 23h00
  • Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd from 10h00 to 23h00.

We look forward in seeing our supporters in Turin!!
